She resigned for reasons that only she really knows. Hounded by the media? Well...if she thinks that that's tough...wait 'til (if) she decides to run for President.
That aside. Her statement the, "I'm a fighter, not a quitter," is very puzzeling. Didn't she just quit? How can she say that she's NOT a quitter when she just voluntarily quit the highest office in her state? If she was a fighter, then perhaps she would have stayed until her term was over and after that...announced that she wasn't running for Governor again but was going to study other options - so she could fight for what's right (at least in her mind!).
